Scoring Range on the GMAT: 200-800 (10-point increments) as well as 0-6 (Analytical Writing Assessment) (0.5 point increments).
A Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from a top-ranked business school is a prerequisite to become an executive (i.e., CFO, COO, CIO, Executive Vice-President). An executive will have a corner office, administrative support, and high remuneration encompassing an attractive sign-on bonus and a relocation allowance. BUT, in order to get admitted into a highly ranked MBA program, you MUST do well on the GMAT.
I would like to start off by telling you that I have worked for Kaplan, but I assure you that my fees for GMAT coaching are more affordable than Kaplan. The scoring range on the GMAT is 200-800. Any score over a 650 puts you in a good position, and any score over 700 puts you in a strong position. Better yet, anything over 720 puts you in an extremely strong position as now we are talking about the TOP business schools and tons of $cholarship$. Regardless, whether your goal is to get a 650+, 690+, or 720+, I can orchestrate the path to help you achieve your goal and get admitted into a decent business school, whether in the US (i.e., Booth, Sloan, Stern, Ross, or McDonough) or perhaps abroad (i.e., western Europe like INSEAD in France, IMD in Switzerland, or LBS in the UK). I can even advise you on the advantages and disadvantages of pursuing an MBA degree in the United States versus overseas (i.e., in a western European country).
Since I tutor for the GMAT exam professionally and have been doing this for many years, I see myself more as a coach than a tutor. It's my purpose to not only prepare you for the test but to ensure that you are comfortable to hit your highest score on test day! On exam day, you should hear my voice whisper (metaphor)!
Now --
To effectively build your confidence and efficiency to handle this examination, I will deploy the following strategies:
*** With respect to our tutoring sessions, I will take a topic-by-topic approach. This should ensure that you understand each topic inside and out before we move on to another. As a direct result, you'll never feel overwhelmed and always feel like we're moving along at the pace YOU are comfortable with. Very good.
*** After each session, I will assign homework based particularly on the session we completed. This is possible since I have my own curriculum with OVER 750 practice problems!
*** Every couple of weeks, I'll have you take practice exams. This way you can begin to focus on your timing, and it will also serve to monitor your improvement.
Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) = What are the benefits of getting a high score on the GMAT?
The higher score you obtain on the standardized exams, the higher your chances of getting admitted into higher-ranked business schools. The higher you score, the better your chances for obtaining scholarships. Therefore, the benefits of getting expert MBA admission tutoring include time savings, stress reduction, and the potential for scholarships. Financially speaking, the money spent on getting a private tutor like me should pay off in the long run.
I can even guide you on the Pros and Cons of pursuing an MBA in North America (i.e., United States or Canada) versus pursuing an MBA degree in a western European country. Pros of pursuing an MBA in western Europe: 1-year duration and somewhat lower GMAT score expectations. Cons of pursuing an MBA in western Europe: language barriers. Internships and full-time employment will likely require fluency in another language (i.e., French, German, Dutch, etc.).

RE: GRE revised General Test and/or GRE Subject Tests
Scoring: 130-170 (1-point increments) AND 0-6 (Analytical Writing) (0.5 increments)
Your Verbal Reasoning score will depend a lot on your knowledge of GRE vocabulary and your ability in reading comprehension. If you need help with GRE preparation, I can assist by assigning 10-20 words before each lecture and quizzing you on those words until you have mastered them. I can teach you strategies that will enable you to improve your speed and accuracy on text completion, sentence equivalence, and reading comprehension questions.
I will teach you the basic language of origin as well as how to dissect new vocabulary words to EASILY understand their meaning. Here is how: prefix, infix, and suffix. Let me give you a quick example. When a word starts with "a" or "an," it typically means without. For example, amorphous means without shape.
When a word ends with "logy," it means study of. For instance, hematology. "Hema" comes from the Greek language, which means blood. Thus, hematology refers to the study of blood. Yes, I fully realize that in reality, hematology is highly complex and requires a graduate-level degree and years of training to come close to understanding it. But for purposes of this GRE exam, what I mentioned is all you should need. I will provide you with a small list from which you should be able to infer hundreds and hundreds of meanings very quickly.
I should teach you KEYWORDS to scan in the question, which will give you vital cues and help you think like the test-maker! WALA!
Additionally, if you're considering pursuing an MBA, I also offer MBA admission tutoring to help guide you through the process.

Managerial Accounting, Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Financial Reporting are essential subjects for those pursuing MBA admission tutoring. Additionally, Auditing plays a crucial role in understanding US GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS. For those preparing for the GMAT or GRE, comprehensive coaching can enhance your grasp of these accounting principles and improve your overall performance.
Corporate Finance and Structured Finance involve critical processes such as cash flow modeling, valuation, NPV analysis, WACC calculation, and IRR analysis. When making decisions about which factors—like stochastic volatility, credit risk, stochastic interest rates, and jumps—should be included in a reasonable pricing model for a selected derivative, techniques such as Monte-Carlo simulation and closed-form valuation formulas, including the Black-Scholes model, come into play. For those preparing for MBA admission, effective GMAT coaching and GRE preparation can greatly enhance your understanding of these financial concepts.
Résumé writing and Curriculum Vitae (CV) writing are essential skills for anyone looking to advance their career. Alongside my expertise in MBA admission tutoring, I will first get to know you and your goals, which will help me advise you on the best résumé format to select: reverse-chronological, functional, or hybrid. Since résumés are often scanned by computer algorithms, I will teach you how to incorporate action verbs and relevant keywords effectively. I will train you to present your accomplishments in concise fragments, capturing your experience with numeric, percentage, and dollar-amount strings. Utilizing a sophisticated data analytics tool, I can show you the statistical success rate of deploying the highest-frequency keywords on résumés.
When it comes to Curriculum Vitae, which means course of life, CVs are structured quite differently than résumés. One of the significant advantages of a CV is that you won't have to limit the display of your accomplishments to just one or two pages; your showcase can extend for several pages. Even if you are highly accomplished—holding patents or having published papers in peer-reviewed journals—I can guide you on how to present your experience to your optimal advantage.
In addition to résumé and CV writing, I also offer GMAT coaching and GRE preparation to help you excel in your academic pursuits. When it comes to interviewing and effective communication techniques, I will show you how to turn intangible qualities, such as your wardrobe attire and body language, into assets. For example, just like the color of a house can impact its selling price and speed, the color of your attire on a first date can influence whether you get a second date. Research indicates that many women are subconsciously attracted to the color red. Similarly, the color of your interview attire can give you a competitive edge.
I will also implement strategies that include a protocol for answering curve-ball interview questions using the SAR method (situation, action, result) where you are the protagonist of the story—ensuring your candidate brand is memorable. These techniques can add up to an extra edge in your interview performance, paving the path for your victory in the competitive landscape of job applications and MBA admissions.
